Almost every American home has a connection with the armed forces through a family member or someone they know.  Our troops are a source of pride and admiration so it is an honor and a pleasure to entertain our armed forces, knowing that we put and a smile on the faces of our soldiers and their families.

Since 2007 "Spread the Laughter" events have provided comedy shows and events to entertain the troops.  The mission is to “Spread the Laughter” to say thank you and raise moral among the troops and their families.  The all star comedy shows include stand-up, improvisational skits, parody and  and some of most exciting musical acts ranging from R&B, Jazz, Rock, Hip-Hop, latin beats and more.

What do they say about Spread the Laughter Events

We owe you a gratitude of thanks.  The installation is still a buzz about the show and a good time was had by all.  Words cannot express the appreciation from our servicemen and women from the entertainment provided....
Excert from letter Ronald R. Thaxton, Colonel, Infrantry, United States Army Commanding

"Entertainment of any kind is a huge morale boost for our Soldiers and Families. The requirements to support our Soldiers and Families as they deploy and return from war is a very stress filled job." - Bob Vogt, Community Recreation Director, Fort Dix

“It gets your mind off of everything going on,” said Spc. Joshua Hausmar from the 38th Military Police Company, Indiana National Guard.

“There is no greater job than to serve those who serve our country,” said Ernst F. Yeager, who has worked as a director for Fort Dix MWR since 1979.

Special thanks to artist that have participated in Spread the Laughter events.  Lonestar, Gerald Albright, Chrisette Michele, Jamie Kennedy, Gina Brillon, Ryan Reiss, Rob Stapleton, Paul Mecurio,Vince August are just to name a few of the performers that have dedicated their time and talent to Spread the Laughter and the troops.

Jamie Kennedy -  “For me it was amazing, one of the most gratifying things I have ever done,” said Kennedy. “You get off the plane and they (the troops) start hugging you and crying. They’re like, ‘Pamela Anderson didn’t show up, but we have you!”

Gina Brillon - “One time after a show I had a guy come up to me and tell me, ‘Thank you so much. This is the first time I have laughed since 9-11,’” Brillon said. “It made me feel like my job is so much more important. I absolutely love to make people laugh.”
